Science Prac - How to Make a Torch

For a Science Practical, we decided to build torches... or at least attempt to. Although we were not all successful it was a good way to learn about circuits.

Knysna Soccer Tour

The Knysna Soccer Tour - What an Incredible experience and opportunity, that I, Mr Govender, got to experience with the Grade 5 soccer boys. With early morning breakfasts, and super late nights (which included me running around telling everyone to go to bed), the trip was a massive successes. The children and the teachers had fun, and winning matches was the cherry on top.

A Mummifying Experience

As you may have gathered, History in term 3 was based on life in Ancient Egypt. Purely as a fun activity, we decided to separate the class into groups, and allow them to turn a child (who willingly volunteered) into Mummies, using toilet paper. Many laughs were shared, and the experience overall, was great.
